I’m Georgije. I started Content Octopus because so many creators make genuinely good long-form videos (interviews, podcasts, commentary, lessons) and then barely use them anywhere else.

Short-form is where a lot of people find you now. Turning an hour-long episode into clips people actually finish watching is real work, though. You have to find a moment that stands on its own, keep the setup the punchline needs, frame it so nobody important gets cropped out, get every name right in the captions, and title it the way you’d title it. Clipping tools help with the first step. The rest still lands on you.

That’s the part I take off your plate.

How I work

Reference first. Before I cut anything, I look at how you already present yourself: your existing shorts, your thumbnails, your fonts and colours, the words you use. Every creator gets their own look. One of my first pilots was an animated commentary channel and another was a live interview show, and the two ended up looking nothing alike. They shouldn’t.

Complete moments, not quotes. A short should make sense to someone who has never heard of you. That usually means opening on the strongest line and still keeping the context that makes it land.

Tools where they help, judgment where it matters. I use AI-assisted transcription and search to move quickly through long videos. I set the direction for each creator (which moments, the framing and the words on screen), and I watch every edit before it goes out.

Files, not software. You don’t log into anything. You get finished MP4s and post them yourself.

Where things stand

Content Octopus is new. I’ve run pilot projects with a couple of creators, and I’m now taking on a small number of free sample shorts so more creators can judge the work on their own footage. That’s the whole reason the offer is free. There are no invented client lists here, and I won’t show anyone’s content without their permission.
